Lucanu Alexandrina is employed by the Help Autism Association since 2017, but she works with the Association since 2014.

She works as a social worker and an ABA therapist, thus managing to combine two passions and be close to the whole family in the recovery process.

She has a 7 year experience in working with children, and the qualities that recommend her are patience, the  desire of continuous training and the joyful attitude she has when working with children.

Mulți dintre copiii cu autism manifestă tulburări de procesare senzorială.Acest lucru se traduce prin faptul că au mari dificultăți de a se adapta mediului in care traiesc, sistemul lor nervos aflandu-se intr-o stare de dezechilibru.

Pentru a-si putea forma abilitați, copilul cu autism care manifestă disfuncții de integrare senzoriala are nevoie in primul rand ca toate simțurile lui să funcționeze normal pentru a nu fi coplesit de mediu. Are nevoie sa i se ofere oportunitatea de a se implica in activitați senzoriale din care sa obțină stimularea necesară pentru a funcționa adecvat.
