Presenting at the Bucharest International ABA Conference 2018:

How to implement the Applied Behavior Analysis Techniques into The Romanian Educational System

Applied Behavior Analysis means: colecting data, functional analysis of behavior, creating intervention plans and evaluating the progress.

ABA focuses on assessing and changing the environement, so that these changes lead to significant improvements regarding the social behaviour of the assessed person.

Starting from this short description, ABA can be successfully applied into The Romanian Educational System. ATCA started ProfAid in december 2017, a programme that helps implementing the ABA techniques into the educational system:

– ProfAid offers behavioral management solutions.

– The classroom interventions became more efficient.

– Offers solutions for diminishing unsuitable behaviors.

– The children develop their abilities.

– They start learning positive behaviors.

– They will solve the tasks better during the classes.

The number of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders is constantly increasing and we can see more behavioral problems in schools. Teachers and parents are facing difficulties in interacting with this children. The motivation is essential for their evolution, and it applies also for adults. The motivation,  whether it arises from outside (extrinsic) or inside (intrinsic) the individual, must not be neglected. It’s essential to extend the applicability of ABA, so that the teachers and the parents can have tools for facing the challenges of having a children with inadequate behavior.
